WHO WE ARE
Presbyterian Manor opened in 1963 as a non-profit apartment building for persons of retirement age. In “1960” a group from the First Presbyterian Church of Boulder met with their pastor to discuss the purchase of Menlo Park for senior housing. A non-profit corporation was formed called Presbyterian Manor and plans were drawn to build a brick building high enough to accommodate 80 apartments for seniors.
Residency in the Manor is open to persons 62 years of age and older. We are an unassisted living residence for Seniors. Residents are required to make the Manor their primary residence as well as their permanent home. Residents must agree to occupy their apartments a minimum of 7 months of each calendar year.
For over 60 years Presbyterian Manor has provided affordable senior housing to some of the most vulnerable population in the state of Colorado. We are an 80 unit, 11-story brick building with eight apartments on each floor. Apartment sizes range from a 425 square foot studio to a 720 square foot two-bedroom apartment. Cable television and wireless internet are provided at no additional cost, which is very rare for affordable senior housing. All utilities except telephone service are also provided. The Manor is across the street from the Boulder Public Library and is three blocks from the Pearl Street Mall. The Manor seeks to provide dignity and a safe living environment so seniors can thrive in their later years.
Mission/Vision of the Manor:
To provide affordable, safe and comfortable independent apartment living for qualified seniors 62 years old or older.
